St Joseph Boy's Science Secondary School recently welcomed 18 visitors from India, including Mr. Ashley, brother of Fr. Alwyn, and his sister-in-law, Laveena.
Most of the visitors were business people interested in learning about organic farming.
The day began with a visit to SJS Organic Farm, where the guests explored organic farming practices. This visit coincided with the school's annual Prize Distribution Day, celebrating student achievements in sports, academics, and cultural competitions. Fr. Victor warmly welcomed everyone, and students Alan and Aiman presented a report on the school's accomplishments.
Cultural performances, including traditional Indian dances, delighted all attendees. The visitors also led a panel discussion on entrepreneurship, inspiring the students with their insights and experiences.
Fr. Alwyn expressed gratitude to the visitors and highlighted the importance of such cross-cultural exchanges. The day was a fruitful blend of learning and fun, leaving lasting memories and new perspectives on organic farming and entrepreneurship.
